Every interaction with architecture and interior design is multi-sensory. Our experience isn't constant; it evolves during our day-to-day interactions in response to our emotions and our actions. As a result, it may bring out positive, neutral, or bad emotions. According to Peter Zumthor's “Atmospheres”, we experience interiors with our senses such as touch, smell, hearing, and sight but also factors like temperature or light. All these details play a huge role in our judgment of the interior. However, our experience does not only rely on the atmosphere itself but also on the colours used in the interior. Based on Kandinsky's notion of colour, which is a significant tool for influencing people, colour vibrates human beings. From the psychological point of view, the part of the brain responsible for vision itself is the occipital lobe, but the exact part that handles recognizing colours is the visual cortex. This paper examines how different aspects such as atmosphere or colour affect our perception

of interiors and also investigates what effect psychology has in that regard. The main source of information is the use of secondary resources such as books, articles, online essays, and ted talks.
